I've officially reached 100 views! Thank you for whoever is reading all this, I am really enjoying blogging!

Aurora

                                                                  In Disneyland Tokyo

Next is Aurora on the list of fellow princesses. This girl has an imagination like no other, and she sleep walks, which is really funny! One time at a slumber party, (I told you we were close,) I woke up in the middle of the night to see her dancing around the room holding a jacket like a man; I guess she was dancing with Phillip "once upon a dream!"

Do you remember how I said Sleeping Beauty was my favorite book? You can imagine how excited I was to meet Aurora in person, it was an amazing moment! I was meeting all the other princesses at once. At that time, there were only 4 other girls. First came Snow, who was an absolute sweetheart and gave me the most genuine hug I'd ever had. Next was Cinderella, and if she'd been any sweeter, my teeth would've hurt! Third was Aurora. First, I  walked up to her and curtsied, as is customary. Then I immediately hugged her and told her what an inspiration she was, and how Sleeping Beauty was my favorite book. She smiled and said that no one's ever told her it was her favorite book. Everyone knows her for the movie, not the story. She looked me in the eye and said, "You don't know how much it means to me that you love the story so much, I'm so glad!"

I felt so important, like I really meant something to her. And over the years, she's proven to me that I do. She and I are very good friends and I could go to her for anything. I was friends with everyone, but Aurora really made a difference when I joined the princesses. I wouldn't trade her for anything!

Cinderella

I'll be going in order, continuing on my relationship with the other princesses. Next is Cinderella, I've never met anyone who is as grateful as her! She will thank you for the smallest thing and almost make you feel guilty for not being so thankful for what you have. She didn't have much after her father died, and her stepfamily was just evil to her! And yet, she's still very kind to them and invites them to all the balls that she and Charming throw. They're not nice to the guests, they steal food, and always make a mess, but Cinderella thanks them for coming anyway!

Unfortunately, I don't feel like I can talk to her if something's wrong. Not that she gossips, she wouldn’t ever do that. Nor is she mean about it, but I always feel like she's been through worse and whatever's wrong with me pales in comparison. I know she doesn't, but I feel like she would look down on me for it. As in, "Really? She thinks that's a big deal! I had to clean, cook, and take care of the animals when I was 10!" (Don't get the wrong idea, she doesn't do that, it's just in my head.)

On the flip side, she's very inspirational. When I'm feeling bad about something or upset, I think about her. She made it through so much, more than anyone else I know, and she's still one of the happiest! After all that, she found her Prince Charming and is living happily ever after. If that's not something to get you through your rough days, I don't know what is!

Whenever you're upset or going through a rough time, look forward to your happily ever after. Don't make permanent decisions about temporary situations. In those instances, it's okay to imagine how much greener the grass will be on the other side!

Snow White

Have you ever wondered what kind of relationships the princesses have? Let me tell you, when you see us smiling in a group picture, the photographer didn't have to tell us to smile. We're all great friends! Since Snow White was the first princess, I'll begin with my relationship with her.

Snow is probably the sweetest, kindest, most innocent person I've ever met. She's just wonderful to everyone she meets, and would never hurt a soul! I remember one day, there was a rat outside while Snow, Cindy, Ariel, and I were shopping. I will admit, it scared the bejeezus out of me... I was practically standing in the street to avoid it. This was no ordinary rat - it was the fattest, dirtiest, ugliest thing I've seen in my life. His napppy fur was an undistiguishable color between poo-brown and old hag-grey. It's tail, or lack thereof was just a nub with strange wounds. It was apparent he had gotten into a fight, and hadn't come out on top.

While the three of us were feeling bad for (it at a distance), Snow walked right over to it, picked it up, and wrapped it's little nub of a tail with a bit of cloth from her bag. She proceeded to carry it around until the manager of the next store we went in made her leave it outside. Once we were back outside, the rat was gone and Snow cried. She's just... so... lovely!

Being the oldest and first princess to even exist, she's like an older sister. We go to her to advice, ask her for help, and always try to please her. She makes us happy to make ourselves better and help others, I couldn't ask for more in an older sister!

My Favorite Book and the Princesses

Many people want to know what my favorite book is, considering I never gave the name. I'm here to clear things up: it's Sleeping Beauty. Far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, and a prince in disguise all describe the story. From my little French village, the kingdoms in the famous story are very far off places! Prince Phillip's daring sword fight with Maleficent always puts me on edge, I just love it. And when the Three Good Faries give their gifts to Aurora and Maleficent ruins the whole thing, it's so dramatic! When Phillip and Aurora fall in love, he's in disguise as a commoner, Aurora has no idea he's a prince! It's all so romantic!

And yes, Aurora and I are friends. When I found out Disney wanted me for a movie, I was so happy! Mainly because I would meet people I'd only seen in books and movies. It's like going to the Oscars and seeing all your favorite celebrities, and getting to work with them. We are like family now, the 11 of the "official" princesses. All of them are so sweet, and I love spending time with them. When Merida officialy joined the other day, we had a huge celebration for her. It's nice to be with people who are so kind, so welcoming. GNO is always loads of fun!

Disney Redesigns

Many Disney fans have been discussing the recent design changes for the princesses. As I work for Disney and was personaly involved in this, I thought I would share my opinion. As many of you know, my dress and hair were both changed, in life and in the parks. My hair is curlier and my dress has been revamped to shimmer and shine. I don't mind the new outfit, I actually like it. In the parks, the new dress actually looks more like the original and the old one looks like the new design. I much prefer the new parks dress, it seems much softer and more comfortable than the later, always an important part of chosing an ensemble! I believe the hair gives a softer appearance to the whole look, as well.
I understand why many of you have a problem, simply with the idea of the redesign: what's so bad about the original? Why fix something that isn't broken? Well I have a question for you; why are phones and technology always changing? Why is there always a 2.0 version, an iPhone 5? Improvement. Change. Moving forward. I see nothing wrong with changing our dresses. Do you want to wear the exact same thing for 20 years? No! '94 was a long time ago, and even though I still love that dress, I enjoy a change every once in a while. I see no problem with changing our "looks," considering the dresses you usually see us in are not the only dresses we wear. It's fairly unhygenic to wear the same clothing for that long.

Although I like my own dress and the idea of redesigning our dresses, I'm not necessarily a fan of all the redesigns. For example, Pocahontas isn't very happy with hers, but what can you do? We signed a contract! And she's still beautiful, no matter what.

Well, thanks for letting me rant about the whole redesign... ordeal.

Here are pictures of the redesigns.

Bonjour!

Bonjour, it's Belle! I was talking to Adam the other day, and he suggested I start a blog so I'd have a place to share some of my life with the world. You'll see some of my favorite books, events from the castle, and my opinion on whatever's on my mind.

Father and I were talking about what all's been going on in town, and I discovered they have a new trilogy of books at the bookstore! Of course, my favorite is about far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, and a prince in disguise; but these are based in a post apocalyptic world where children fight to the death in an arena once a year. Can you imagine? What a dreadful thing! Of course, I'll read them because I've read all of the other books there. Luckily, there are thousands of books in the library at the castle! I don't think I'll ever run out of books to read to read!

And to who it may concern, Walt Disney World has “recreated” our castle in their new Fantasyland. In it, they have a restaurant inside called Be Our Guest. I ate there the other day and it was wonderful! It felt like I was back at home, it was so well done. The food was also delicious! I certainly recommend it.

Well, I'm looking forward to many more blog posts to come!
