Disney Redesigns

Many Disney fans have been discussing the recent design changes for the princesses. As I work for Disney and was personaly involved in this, I thought I would share my opinion. As many of you know, my dress and hair were both changed, in life and in the parks. My hair is curlier and my dress has been revamped to shimmer and shine. I don't mind the new outfit, I actually like it. In the parks, the new dress actually looks more like the original and the old one looks like the new design. I much prefer the new parks dress, it seems much softer and more comfortable than the later, always an important part of chosing an ensemble! I believe the hair gives a softer appearance to the whole look, as well.
I understand why many of you have a problem, simply with the idea of the redesign: what's so bad about the original? Why fix something that isn't broken? Well I have a question for you; why are phones and technology always changing? Why is there always a 2.0 version, an iPhone 5? Improvement. Change. Moving forward. I see nothing wrong with changing our dresses. Do you want to wear the exact same thing for 20 years? No! '94 was a long time ago, and even though I still love that dress, I enjoy a change every once in a while. I see no problem with changing our "looks," considering the dresses you usually see us in are not the only dresses we wear. It's fairly unhygenic to wear the same clothing for that long.

Although I like my own dress and the idea of redesigning our dresses, I'm not necessarily a fan of all the redesigns. For example, Pocahontas isn't very happy with hers, but what can you do? We signed a contract! And she's still beautiful, no matter what.

Well, thanks for letting me rant about the whole redesign... ordeal.

Here are pictures of the redesigns.
